| Quetzal Recording Studio is Greensboro's best 48 track digital recording facility. Our space has been carefully planned and designed to give you professional and great sounding recordings. We use the best microphones, preamps, A/D conversion and processing on every project. There are 5 independent mix stations so each band member can have their own personal mix in their headphones! We want your projects to be the best possible. Our mission is to make Quetzal Recording your top state-of-the-art choice in the area so our equipment list is always growing. Acker, Recording Engineer Influences: Quetzal Recording has a notable client base.Legendary bassist and singer Jack Bruce fom CREAM, bassist Billy Cox and drummer Buddy Miles of Jimi Hendrix Band of Gypsys, drummer Mitch Mitchell of Jimi Hendrix Experience, bassist Harvey Dalton Arnold from The Outlaws, drummer Neal Smith from Alice Cooper.Derrick worked alongside actress Linda Lavin as her sound engineer while she directed William Shakespeare's "As You Like It." In addition to that production, Ms. Lavin had various other projects dealing with preservation and transfer of 2 track masters. As well as a mastering project of the live performances of "An Evening With Linda Lavin and Friends."Lifesmyth recorded his album "Music For the Third Ear" which was 2 years in the making.
