I got my first pair of decks at 15 and have never looked back, im always looking to play at loads of of places to get my sound heard. I put out no holds barred performances spanning across 2 decks,3 CDJs and Ableton Live incorporating a unique style ranging from deep, minimal, jackin to techno with full decks and effects to top it off, pre-recorded effects and scratching that bring the audience within the depths of the music. I feel that you need to be very versatile and not stamp a particular genre onto your name, its about individuality, so that people can enjoy your personal approach to the performance. Birmingham born and bred...moved to Leicester two years ago to study Music Technolgy at university, have played at many of the top establishments in the Midlands, starting my trade in the underground depths of Birmingham. I currently have residencies with CityFly, Break The Mould and have own night/radio show and brand under the name of "KABUKI". Have played alongside the likes of Axwell, Stanton Warriors, X-Press 2, Tom Novy, Jimpster, Jay Tripwire to name a few. 2007 has been a very busy year , in the final year at De Montfort University where i have been studying Music Technology & Innovation. Back in the Studio soon working on a few remixes and productions under the alias of Kabuki Mono alongside DJ partner Damian Disorder. Our first production, "Your Love Is Dirty", was smashed out in ibiza last summer, including plays at top nightclub SPACE, with regular plays from resident Jon Ulysees. A Re-edit is due to be completed with a hopeful release soon. Kabuki web site is to be launched soon so keep watching this space. If you see me around come say hello, love meeting new people...
