| Plongé dans la littérature du 18ème et début 19ème siécle, Kentin Jivek mélange l’ambiance issue de ces livres, en y appliquant les événements de la vie contemporaine, avec un style sarcastique et psychédélique.
Il cite Edgar Poe, Arthur Machen, Jacques Cazotte(le diable amoureux)comme références.S’en suit une période expérimentale, avec l’apprentissage de plusieurs instruments traditionnels qui lui serviront notamment pour la mise au point d’une première maquette.
C’est en 2005 qu’il monte un projet electro appelé Sicken Treat, un duo (electro new wave) qui passera en première partie de Jad Wio à la flèche d’or.Ce projet en marge lui permet de mettre à profit ses compétences d’instrumentaliste, co-auteur et arrangeur. En 2008, il sort son propre album « La maigreur élégante », un 12 titres auto-produit.
S’en suit plusieurs dates dont un show case au Baiser salé sur Paris avec deux musiciens (violon + percussions).
En Avril de la même année, il sort un second album « Fuis moi je te suis » un 8 titres autoproduit opérant un retour aux sources de la musique folk des années 1960 et 1970 (influencés par Scott Walker, Leonard Cohen,Lee Hazlewood).
C’est l’occasion pour lui de présenter les nouveaux titres au Kab-usine à Genève le 7 Avril 2008- Inspired by the literature of 18th and beginning of 19th century, Kentin Jivek mixes environment resulting from these books, by applying the events of the contemporary life to it, with a sarcastic and psychedelic style. He quotes Edgar Poe, Arthur Machen, Jacques Cazotte(The devil in love), as references. One experimental period is followed from there, with the training of several traditional instruments which will be useful to him in particular for the development of a first demo. It is in 2005 that he creates an electro project called "Sicken Treat", a duet (electro- new wave) which will pass in first part of Jad Wio at the “Fleche d’or” in Paris ;This project in margin enables him to make profitable its competences of instrumentalist, co-author and arranger.
In 2008, he records his own album "the elegant thinness", a 12 titles own-produced
In April of the same year, he finalizes a second album "Fuis moi je te suis" ("Flee me I am to you" ) a 8 titles operating a return to the sources of the folk music from the 1960’s and 1970’s (influenced by Scott Walker, Leonard Cohen and Lee Hazlewood).
It is the occasion for him to present the new tracks at the Kab-factory in Geneva on April 7, 2008Inspirado por la literatura del 18.o y principio 19.o , Kentin Jivek mezcla el ambiente resultante de estos libros, aplicando los acontecimientos de la vida contemporánea, con un estilo sarcástico y psychédélique. En 2008, saca su propio álbum "la delgadez elegante", uno 12 títulos autoproducido.Se sigue varias fechas cuyo un "show case"al Beso salado en París con dos músicos (violín + percusiones).
En Abril del mismo año, saca un segundo álbum "me huye me yo te es" uno 8 títulos operativo una vuelta a las fuentes de la música folk de los años sesenta y 1970 (influidos por Scott Walker, Leonard Cohen, y Lee Hazlewood).
Es la ocasión para presentarle las nuevas canciones a la - Kak-Usine en Ginebra el 7 de abril de 2008).
