La banda fue formada en 1998 por Gerson Toro, Andrés Martínez y Eduardo Martínez, tocando thrash metal. Un año después la banda toma el nombre de ETERNAL DRAK, que significa la eterna orden del dragón, y dirigió su sonido más hacia el black metal, influenciado por Desaster, Bathory, Sabbat, old Sepultura, old Metallica, Immortal, Mayhem, Sarcofago, etc. Oscar Layton entra en la otra guitarra, ese mismo año. En el 2002 la banda sacó su CD "La Resurrección de la Orden Guerrera", en octubre se presentó junto a la banda Inquisition (USA) y sacó el video de la canción Eternal Drak. En el 2003 fue invitada para salir en las compilaciones "From Colombia With Hate 2" y "Athems of War". En el 2004 tocó junto a los peruanos Goatsemen.
