Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor Ruud Cornelissen started playing bassguitar in a popgroup when he was 13 years old; he did this for about 10 years. After this period he began his career as a professional classical doublebass-player in the several Dutch Symphony Orchestras. After studying at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, he played for 20 years in the Radio Symphony orchestra in Hilversum, Holland.He was also busy as teacher for doublebass and bassguitar. For both instruments he wrote a method; ..Musical Instruction for Bassguitar..is published by the guitar publisher ..Van Teeseling... He also composed a couple of pieces for doublebass, published by Donemus Amsterdam. At the moment he is recording a solo-cd, called ..Short Tracking.., with the cooperation of a number of well-known Jazz musicians. |
