About Me |
|
| First of all, I won' t start with; '' I am playing something since I was 5 or 12 and my music finds its roots in the family''. Why? Because I haven't discovered music that way. I had, however, arrangements and airs in my head. I then used my voice to materialise those airs; a thing, you know, that is childish and funny. Even with instruments in my music nowadays, that vocal-as-total-track aspect remains. The ''infante'' soul is still singing. I hope you will hear that child within me.
Music is in everybody anyway.
I was half of NUTIFAFA . I come from Togo , a west african country and I m studying audiovisual art at the Rietveld Academie based in Amsterdam.
I sing mainly in ''Mina'' which is a togolese creole language(Ewe roots with influences of western languages). . I am playing guitar 2 years almost now. So I am far from being the next J.Hendrix. But to me it doesn' t matter. I like to try things,to fall down and stand up; and fall again and one day I will definitely stand up...ooo the bass guitar also sounds good.
