| My days have no shape, my nights have no end.......The realities in my life the last few years are an absolute curse for a hopeless romantic like me. But I am slowly tearing down all the walls I have built up. I'm tired of the self-pity parties, and the excuses that seem to consume me!! Watch out world! It's hard to put down "me" in writing at the moment since I am trying to reinvent myself. I always thought that I would be married with children and now that I am 40 and divorced and have no children- things must change. Now, this is your cue to run, run far away!! LOL. I'm spiritual, but I do not adhere to any singular religion. I believe in a higher power; I believe in all things natural and instinctive, but I also don't judge or blame people with things get sh*tty either! | |

| Talking, walking, blues music and any type of music when it's live. I like red wines, and yes beer too, but my favorite is a dirty vodka martini. I love to write (albeit suffering from a writer's block of late). I could also say I enjoy museums, good food, good friends, etc- but who doesn't??? One day I hope to finish my private pilot lessons. I love to fly! And one day I will get the nerve to skydive- it's my biggest fear! I also love to have a nice cold adult beverage (or several) with good friends. | |
I'd like to meet:Someone that has a sense of humour!!!! There aren't enough people out there like that anymore! But also someone that has a sense of "self", that is true and honest. Somebody that likes spur of the moment things, as well as long lazy weekends as well. Intelligence is also important, I like to have engaging conversations about things other than what some crazed celebrity did yesterday! Also, I'm a libertarian so raging liberals need not inquire! Music:Blues music, and Rock and Roll!!! BB King, Eric Clapton, Willy Dixon, Solomon Burke, Kenny Wayne Shepard. Plus good ol' 70's & 80's rock, and old punk. Celtic music is very soothing, and some jazz as well. There is also a lot of new stuff out there that I like -OUTKAST, Gorillaz,Fall Out Boy, Robert Randolph, Black Eyes Peas (Fergie) and Audioslave. Just a Heinz 57 here!! |

Movies:I haven't been to a movie theatre in a very long time. I just don't like going alone I guess. But I LOVE movies. |

Television:Too much lately, I'm afraid to admit. At least NO reality TV! Well not much at least, it is hard to escape that these days. I'm more of an SciFi, HBO, Discovery, History Channel kind of person. |

Books:Would you believe I actually started reading Gone with the Wind??? Yeah, weird huh? I just have never read it and I was BORED visiting family, and my other choices were much worse. Otherwise, I have read a lot Stephen King, and Phillip Dick, and other obscure authors. |

Heroes:Anyone who isn't a coward -which would include everyone in the military. Noble people, and people that have respect for one another. If I had to pick one person it would be the one that I haven't met yet........and may never meet. But all the men & women in the military get my vote! |
