Jesli mozesz pomóc nam w jakis sposób (koncert, promocja, dobre rady) - skontaktuj sie z nami! email: valinormetal@poczta.onet.pl Ernest tel. 607-701-959 Tomek tel. 511-272-398 VALINOR was brought to life in January 1993 by Slawomir Ciszek (vocals, guitar), Ernest Garstka (guitars) and Andrzej Trzaskus (drums) in Debica, a small town in the south of Poland. However, due to musical differences Slawomir Ciszek soon parted with the band. He was replaced by Slawomir Zabicki (vocals) and Piotr Rucki (guitar). Rafal Rucki (bass) completed the line-up. In 1997 the band recorded their first album Remembrance in Manek Recording Studio in Sanok. The songs could be described as melodic death/black metal. Valinors first studio effort was very well received by both fans and magazines such as METAL HAMMER, MORBID NOIZZ and TRASHEM ALL. In 1998 the band started the recording session for their second album It Is Night which, due to numerous problems, finished only in 2001. The album was recorded with Jakub Glab who replaced Slawomir Zabicki (vocals). It Is Night was (again) recorded in Manek Recording Studio and produced by Arkadiusz Malta Malczewski and Mariusz Kurasz. The album gained lots of favourable reviews; still, Andrzej Trzaskus, Piotr Rucki and Jakub Glab decided to leave the band. They were replaced by Jaroslaw Gurga (drums), Robert Lipa (bass) and Dariusz Urban (vocals), while Rafal Rucki switched over to guitar. In this line-up Valinor played two gigs only and eventually decided to temporarily stop their activity. In 2002 the band signed to APOCALYPSE PRODUCTION which resulted in the official release of both Remembrance (as a split CD with Dira Mortis) and It Is Night. Valinor returned reinforced by their original drummer Andrzej Trzaskus and Tomasz Domka (vocals). The group performed at METALMANIA 2005. In February 2006 Valinor entered Chinook Studio to record their most up-to-date effort. Hidden Beauty was produced by Krzysztof Godycki. The album consists of 9 track in the vein of fast yet melodic death metal flavoured with folky tunes and acoustic interludes. |
