Grazie a internet e a incessanti spedizioni del loro cd ai 4 angoli del pianeta i 5 ricevono apprezzamenti da svariate parti del mondo e vengono invitati a suonare in Irlanda del nord per un mini tour nell’aprile del 2007 dividendo i concerti a fianco di gruppi di rilievo della scena indie irlandese come Tin pot operation di Belfast, Blatant fly di Derry... , suonando un repertorio di brani di loro composizione in lingua inglese , In italia hanno ricevuto ottime recensioni che potrete leggere alla loro pagina web, hanno suonato in concerto e show case tra i quali: - “FNAC”di torino, -"soundtown di torino" -"salotto di Mao" -"ritmi circolari festival 2007" premi e riconoscimenti : -hanno vinto una bottiglia di vodka vuota(VERO) ad un concorso locale("suoni giovini susa 2006") -hanno vinto il concorso nazionale "M.E.I.-space"2007votati da una giuria di qualità composta da giornalisti e critici delle principali riviste di musica in italia e verranno premiati al m.e.i. d faenza 2007 Prossimi appuntamenti: -si esibiranno al m.e.i. sul palco principale sabato 24.11.07 h.19.30 -l'11-1-08 suoneranno a milano per il centenario del Bar Magenta al "centenary music festival".... -hanno da poco recuperato un televisore in bianco e nero dai rottami e funziona benissimo... ...presto altri aggiornamenti.... . discografia: “autumn in a junk yard” 2006 “we don’t care” 2007 “no covers” (compilation di bands valsusine) 2007 dfs/toast records per ulteriori info e contatti ed eventualmente oridinare un loro CD: e.mail: martinovergnano@hotmail.com tel.0039.3405537821 sito internet: www.myspace.com/martinovergnano i ragazzi sono disponibili per qualsiasi tipo di concerto, festival, progetti musicali , tour (anche all'estero),show case, etc. ........................................ My name is Martino Vergnano, and I’m a musician from the North-West of Italy. in july 2006 i founded with a group of friends a band called: "ROSENKRANZ". I was born in 1976 (if you’re reading this in 2076 , I’ll either be very old or maybe even dead, but on the plus-side it also means that the world still exists – by the way… is there still ice at the north-pole??!...) I’m a sort of songwriter/musician/part-time alcoholic/multi-instrumentalist. In 1999 I lived in Ireland and that’s when I started to write songs in English. So-far I’ve done lots of things, I’ve been: • a musician • a hard-worker • a busker • absolutely bone-idle • a dish-washer • a writer of poems & novels • incredibly lazy • unemployed • a professional drinker ………but I never gave up with song writing. for the past few years I’ve played (and continue to play) with many different bands (Cassandra crossing, Filid, fuyu, ) in many different styles types of music… (alternative/ rock-folk/ experimental etc.) …bla de bla de bla….. I recorded my first cd in my bedroom.. I played all the instruments… . (guitars, drums,bass, keyboards etc.), a sort of ‘one-man band’ with a four track recorder. Now when I’m onstage I play guitar and I sing. ("i don't care" by rosenkranz) Sounds Like: ....................................... thank YOU for this friendly friendly world! ........................................................ “venti notturni” è un breve romanzo scritto da martino vergnano, ambientato in un paese della provincia di torino, il protagonista, tra una suonata, una bevuta e l’altra, cerca di intravedere un lato poetico della sua inutile esistenza, convinto che i venti notturni siano una specie di messaggio “divino” , venti che dovrebbero portargli il segnale che il suo riscatto sociale ed artistico è vicino. Saranno invece venti sciagurati che porteranno addirittura il protagonista in prigione. Sullo sfondo c’e’ molto spazio per un’immaginaria colonna sonora che va dai beatles agli smashing pumkins, l’amore platonico per la “bella del villaggio” e una famiglia distrutta da un rogo.
