Let’s go back to 2001 where everything began. At this time I was an inspired Tunnel-Club visitor and was really impressed how the resident-DJ’s Shoko and Dean made the crowd celebrating every evening. I was very interested in DJing and so it didn’t took a long while till I owned my own turntables. The first chance to show my mixing skills was in 2003 in the legendary "Traxx" and some other events and clubs followed in the next time. Some friends and I started to invent events like "Ohrenbluten-Club", "Pitch Blast" and later "Treibfrequenz" , but I’ve seen that you don’t get any attention without a release in the scene, so I started to produce some tracks with "Nino Cortez" and one of them (S.P.I.K.E. - Flight of the phoenix (JB Bass & NXP Remix) was released on the "Alpha 2005" compilation. Later I stepped in contact with "DJ Slideout" (Lengo Rec. / Überdruck). The result was "Mike Phobos - Hard and Holy E.P." which was sold out in just a few days! After that big succes a friend (DJ Ric D) asked me to invent a new event the "Treibfrequenz Club" where also newcomers had the chance to show their skills. All in all I had a lot to do and the results were great! But there are still a lot of things I’d like to do so you’ll hear much more from me in the future ;-) Mike Phobos Big THX goes to Primax!
