As musicians first (technicians second) we look at audio PRAGMATICALLY. Rather than total control over every aspect of analog signal generation mechanics we focus on a better interface for the player, one that READILY navigates the most interesting areas of unique analog artifacts the moment a Trogotronic is plugged in. The controls are not labeled much as the neck and strings on a violin are not marred by cypher; the user is encouraged to LISTEN and FEEL the instrument, observe the signal lamps so that it may more readily serve as an extension of the mind and body rather than a calculator or indexed jukebox full of memorized sounds that begs verbal thought and comprehension.These focused upon "areas" of transcendent higher-order electronic/audio threshold states (otherwise known as "chaos", "turbulence", and "fractal" phenomena) yield the most interesting signals that electronic instruments can offer.
