| The truth is, I change every day. All the time. So the great difficulty is finding something that always applies, innit? I guess I am most consistently a singer and a drinker and a smoker. I suppose you could also argue that I am vastly inappropriate, adept at heckling and rational to a fault. I read too much and drink too often and smoke too fast and wear underwear too rarely. I watch the same movies over and over again and listen to great albums only once. I prefer paperback to leatherbound, gin to vodka, marlboros to camels, briefs to thongs, dvd to archos, and vinyl to cd. No one has ever actually wanted me; I've been settled for a lot. I think allowing yourself to be settled for is a form of settling. I won't settle anymore. I'm lonely. So far I love martinis, steak, lace anything, cat eye glasses, being barefoot, swingsets, red lipstick, polka dots, autumn, jazz, starry nights, big drinks, familiarity, carpentry, rock shows, Tuesday nights, smiling, friends, lovers, the rare individuals who can be both, vinyl, bras and blue jeans, big fake fur collars, fake tattoos, real tattoos, booze, boobs ... any small joy that could be my last without being a disappointment ... But I guess maybe everyone could say that. |

| Not being a telemarketer anymore. But still just imagining having enough money to eat while I wile away the hours at one of the worst jobs available to the general public, temping. Temping. Aliases: "wanting a real job and getting to try out lots of them in a short period of time" and "Just staring to get attached to a job and group of coworkers when I have to leave them and go to another shitty office it'll take me two and a half moths to start to like" In my free time I like to take lame clothes and turn them into cool clothes. Someday someone might pay me to do it for them, too. I also like getting my hair done. But I'm not that prissy. I drink hard liquor, I like classic rock and antifolk (if you don't know that word or The Moldy Peaches, you should) and jazz and smoky nightclub situations. I am also fat, so I'm interested in eating and being fat. And trying not to look fat. And lying to myself about maybe someday not being fat. And then, when I'm not so fat, I'm gonna get a tattoo. I'll get a tatto or four before then, I'm sure, but the special one when I'm feeling really not so fat anymore. Other interests: theatre, singing, music, movies, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant... |

I'd like to meet:DEEP CLEANING HHERE NEXT. HANG ONPeople who have seen and enjoy The Office or Coupling or Changing Rooms or What Not to Wear in their original BBC versions. I would like to know some people who don't think I'm the biggest freak ever. Or maybe just to know that I could start a club. I've never really been in a club, except the Madonna Club in 3rd grade. But we only played that when we weren't building model homes from Jenga blocks or hunting for the 5 inch floppy disk with the Wheel of Fortune game on it. People who know and like The Moldy Peaches are sometimes cool. I'll take my chances, if you know who they are and you like them, I wanna meet you. Especially if you live in Boise. Also if you like to listen to or dance to any of the other of my music picks. People who don't know the difference between your, you're and yore need not apply, by the way. Also there, their and they're. And if you know how to use this: ; that's a big plus. Also, I wanna meet someone who is a combination of all of the endearing traits of Lloyd Dobler, Troy Dire and Cameron Fry. It's another scenario where if you know who they are, I wanna meet you too, even if sadly you're nothing like them. And Stephen Merchant. Or the stranger from Dear Frankie, if he really exists. |
