| I play rhythm guitar. I sing a little. I have fun playing drums with my boyfriend. I have a large catalogue of poetry and lyrics that I have written. I have 3 kids, 1 is grown and 2 are teenagers. I have a great man in my life! I'm athletic and am health conscious. I don't smoke or abuse myself or others. I recycle and care about the earth. Music:The Chipmunks, Beatles, Cream, Christmas songs, The Partridge Family, John Denver, Elton John, Creedence Clearwater. I had a drum set and took Jazz drum lessons when I was 10 years old. I grew up listening to my fathers music, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Liza Minnelli, etc. At age 14 I started playing acoustic guitar. My teacher was a Catholic music teacher into folk music and oldies. By Jr. high I was listening to some Kiss, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Ted Nugent, U.F.O., Rod Stewart, Chicago, Eagles, Doobie Bros, Frampton, Cher and everything on the radio, even Motown. My first concert was Led Zeppelin with Jon Bonham. They ruled the 70's. Then one day a someone turned me onto the progressive rock genre - Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Rush, King Crimson, Kansas, Asia. Yes has been my fav. band since 1978. I learned to play electric guitar. At the same time Van Halen and Quiet Riot ruled the L.A. scene. That was huge. Eddie and Randy were my inspirations. The L.A. rock scene exploded and I was right in the middle of it. Motley Crue, Ratt, Great White, Dokken, Odin. I love any song with a great vocal- Journey, Heart, The Babys, Neil Young, Styx, REO Speedwagon, James Taylor, Foreigner. I love any song with some crankin guitar, like in the rock or metal genre - Van Halen, Def Leppard, Dio, Dokken, Metallica, Triumph, Motley Crue, Whitesnake, Ted Nugent, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Savatage, Queensriche, Slaughter, Cinderella, Alcatraz, Tesla, Bon Jovi. In a lighter genre - James Blunt, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilara, Shaniya Twain, and 100's more of everything. Barbra Streisand is my all time favorite singer. |
