About Me

"The world needs dreamers and the world needs doers... Above all, the world needs dreamers who do."

~ Sarah Ban Breathnach

Here, we can dip our arms up to the elbows in ..what we call ADVENTURES!

~Don Quixote

"No pessimist ever discovered the secret of the stars, or sailed to an uncharted land, or opened a new doorway to the human spirit."

~ Helen Keller

"Live every day to the fullest because life is short, and you're dead for a long time."

~ Bob Sotile

In my parallel universe, they've built a town named Gleason, USA, in my honor.

..

Thank you for stopping by the town of Gleason. We have a few rules here, but they're easy to abide by. You can park wherever you might like. Just not across from my driveway.

It's a friendly lifestyle here.

We have trees, and lots of 'em. Even in the middle of the roads, which makes rush hour a little dicey.

And Otis, the drunk, put up all the telephone poles.

Oh, well. Nothing is perfect, other than God, so we pride ourselves on being PERFECTLY IMPERFECT. You are welcome to join us.

We have own cheerleaders!

Yes, we have a newspaper, a post office, a library and museums, which I'll get around to showing you in due time. We're building a museum of what people have done when they haven't had anything better to do. We'll probably never finish that project 'cause something always comes up. But you never know.

We are the Ball Clay Capital of the World.

Damned if we can figure out what to use all this ball clay for.

Gumby comes from here.

My Interests

Keep it light and fun.

I especially want to meet people with an interest in film making and writing; Those with a keen appreciation for comedy; and anyone who can assist my aspiration to see my scripts transformed to the big screen.
All of my MySpace Friends!Siberian Huskies Rule the World!

... if you let 'em!

Bullfighting is the official sport of our city.

Because sometimes, the bull, he does not lose!

We have museums!

We have our own monetary system

"Mr. Gleason, your book is overdue..."

We Have A Library.

This is our high school principal. He used to be a national star in kickball, before becoming a phys ed teacher.

Lots of kids grow up to work in the factory.

We had a mishap a few years back. The truck left the factory, and collided with another truck. It was a truck carrying pins.

We have nightlife!

...and I have nightlife, too!

Ready for a Road Trip!

We have social problems, but we address them.

We have outstanding restaurants!

In fact, the Foo Kin family is expanding into other businesses. I asked if I could be adopted by the Foo Kin family, and they told me I didn't have a Foo Kin brain. They're opening a Foo Kin frozen yogurt shop. And they recently had the Grand Opening for the Foo Kin T-Shirt Company, where they sell crew-neck shirts in thousands of varieties. Their slogan is, "Get a Foo Kin Crew!"

Our City Hall...

It's conveniently located next to the prison.

We have the National Bank of Gleason!

We have a barber shop, and it's also the bus terminal. Surprisingly, most of our residents cut their own hair.

Back in the day -- No swearing allowed, but Snoopy would curse the Red Baron. Periodically, we'll have others we want to curse.

Curse You, Engine Fires!

And now, a brief political message from our own Chuck Steak...

We take ice cream soda breaks every afternoon.

We have championship-caliber golf courses. Years ago, Bob Hope kissed everyone's balls for good luck.

Visit Rochester... A City of Quality!
