Myspace Editor Pimp MySpace Currently based in Orlando,Florida(not for ever though)Peter Browne has been very much involved in both the traditional and jazz scenes in Ireland for many years.He has appeared on many recordings that include bands and musicians such as Khanda and The Karnatic college of percussion(Bangalore),Oisin McAuley(Danu)John Joe Kelly (Flook),Lingua Franca,The Fureys,Dessie Kelliher,Janette Byrne,Maria Tecce,Shane McGowan(guitarist),Michelle O'Brien,Robbie Harris,Mick Kinsella,Ronan Guilfoyle,Tommy Halferty,Phil Ware, Tanya Kalmanovitch,Bridge Street with Paddy Kerr and Colin Farrell,Tony Byrne,The Shanghai Conservetory,Freddie White,Kila and Tavil.Peter teaches at the Frankie Kennedy winter school each year,and has taught in the Falcarragh Ceoltoir course for two years,amongst other workshops.Peter has also performed with Slide, Emer Mayock,Camille O'Sullivan,Ann Bushnill,Providence,Hard Station,Niamh Parsons,Tango Bravo,Pauline Scanlon,Stocktons Wing,At First Light,Zoltan Lantos,Paul Kelly,Dave Liebman,Brian Byrne and The RTE Concert Orchestra on a number of occasions. The Music for a thing of joy and a beauty forever tracks were recorded with a single mic to minidisc originally as a document after the 3rd day of rehearsal in the Samuel Beckett hall in Trinity College with Dan Bodwell(bass) and Peter Altenberg(tabla,sarangi)in 2003.It's music lightly structured by Dan and all improvised, for a modern dance show by Rionach O'Niell.
