| Cosgrove was born in 2002. Carl, Kahlin, & Karl all had been in previous bands and had already been writing together for a while, and met up with the Drummer, Bill, through a random Musician Exchange site. They quickly jumped into the writing process, aiming to combine all of their influences into a sound that wasn't like any other heard. In Late 2002, they finally were able to get into a "Studio" and record they're first demo. Shows started coming with bands such as 10SecondsTooLate, The Score, The Best Kept Secret, and more. Haverford College was a huge part of Cosgrove's "Success", with shows and promo. Cosgrove continued playing shows and writing for a full-length, which unforutnately was recorded, but never finished due to a bizarre Lightning Strike which fried the computer which it was being stored on. Guitarist Carl then took the opportunity to go over-seas for a Semester abroad. Cosgrove Officially Disbanded in 2004, and played a Farewell Show @ Haverford College in July. But, as of 2005, former members of Cosgrove are Reuniting to start up a new project. It's not yet known whether the Cosgrove name will be carried over, but it is certain that everyone has grown as musicians and are better than ever. The writing process has already begun, and it's definitely something to be excited about. Much more of a heavier, even hardcore feel to the new stuff. Thanks for checking us out! |
