The solo produce of LESBIAN SONGWRITER & MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST...... Claudine West. HALF OF THE BANDTHE IDOLINS This Woppit has been writing/performing and recording music since the age of 12 in little dark rooms, LADY GARDENS, lofts, kitchens and on small stages. She also drunkely warbles into a microphone singing gibberish while randomly snorting a vicks inhailer. CLICK HERE FOR CLAUDINE!The talent recognised, supported and encouraged early on by her parents and music teacher during her formative years. Where she spent a lot of time swapping instruments jamming with friends. Composing, writing and not practicing her music exam pieces. (To this day she still makes it up as she goes along) She began performing Jazz and Blues on the kit and loved the improvisation. Also teaching herself guitar, piano and eventually bass. By her late teens she'd began playing drums live in Rock/Blues bands as well as guitar in acoustic bands/and singing solo @ Open mic nights. She began a 10 year musical recording partnership after meeting her mentor. In September 2003 he tragically and suddenly died. Lead guitarist Grimm-A.K.A. Graham Skelton-Ruth (who was suffering from Multiple Sclerosis) went on to play some rock and roll with Angels. Life became numb for a while-But then blossomed.......These songs you hear are just a few of a vast collection, ranging from acoustic folk rock to pop to instrumentals and comedy songs. "To create and feel the music, the energy, passion, drive, to get lost in it, dream it.. Become it during writing/recording and performing sessions makes doing what i do so rewarding in my life" "Through the bullshit, tragedy, experiences, darkness, beautiful things and people that have inspired me so far in this world.
