It all started back in the early 90's.... Once I attended a first friday @ Babylon, located in downtown Greensboro NC, I was hooked!!! I originally started spinning Drum and Bass selections, with a bit of trance mixed in. As I started to gain recognition, I realized that the triad was not accustomed to such fast paced, hard hitting tracks that I had chosen. I grew up in the 80's, and had attended parties with the likes of Dj's such as Dj Fuzz, Dj Baby Anne, Sasha and Digweed, Dj Robbie Dale, Jus Chris.....And many more!!! The more that I listened to their up beat-Breaks, alolng with many 80's Remixes, I knew where I wanted to head with my music!!!! As my passion for the industy grew, so did the need for money for LP's, and equipment, So I also started spinning hip-hop to help pay the way. I threw several parties around the triad with top name Dj's such as Huda Hudia, Jus Chris, Dj Mike B, and Moonshine recording artist- Dj Trona. I would usually open up the night so I could get some time behind the decks to help out for future opportunities. I was fortunate enough to have good friends to help me out along the way and gave me opportunity to get my name out around the triad, One of those friends was Todd Gosnell, the ex owner of one of High Points hottest spots for several years, "FUSION", gave me the chance to showcase my talants several nights a week, playing a good mix of hip-hop and dance, and then after hours playing a Break-Beat set to set the night off!!!

Influences:One of my most memerable influences has to be the first time that I heard Dj X's remix to "Use Your Love"!!! That song totally Blew Me Away, and set the standard for future remixes of all Genres!!! I have to thank everyone that has helped me out along the way, A Big Shot Out to Dj Shaun G. and Dj Skip-A-Beat!!! I first met Shaun G. and Skip-A-Beat spinning at Liquid Blue on the strip @ Myrtle Beach SC in the late 90's. Myself and Shaun G. started a friendship the first time we spoke to one another, and he was courteous enough to explain how to beat match, and also how to match tempos to mix records!!! I owe almost everything I know to his patience with me. Other Influences include one of the triads hottest Dj's, Dj Roby Dale, to name a few more... Dj X, Baby Anne, Simply Jeff, Keoki, Dj Micro, LTJ Bukem, Sasha and Digweed, Huda Hudia, Jus Chris, Dj Optimus Prime, Dj Hue Randall, Mike B, ATB, Alice Dj, and the list goes on and on. As the years have gone by, I have help pass the knowledge on to others who enjoy to listen as well as to create their own remixes, but they are several who have let all of this go to their head, not remebering what its all about.... The friendships, the music, and just hanging out passing on tips and tricks that we learn along the way. You know who you are.... Dont forget where you came from!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds Like: I like to think that the music that I create is totally original, But, It all had to start somewhere. I thank god for groups such as the Fat boys, KRS-One, Luke Skywalker, Biggie Smalls, Beastie Boys, and most of the bands from the 80's!!! I think that I sound alot like all of these combined to a get up dance beat!!!!!!
