"WHO THE F*** IS MARNIE?"

„Once we had this gut feeling, like a spark of energy, which gave us the name MARNIE” says the singer (L)emmy, the effervescent voice of this young Berlin band. And that which binds the four musicians under this name, seems to push them in the right direction!

But let’s start the story at the beginning:
(L)emmy and Den the guitarist meet in Halle an der Saale and decide to form a band. Driven by their inner voice, the two musicians move to Berlin one year later in June 2004. There they meet Cani in March 2005 and the first songs come together. Joined by Le Zwie on Bass in January 2006 the constellation is complete. From that point onwards Marnie inspire everyone with their energy - special captured moments, amongst others:
At the legendary Molotov in Hamburg or at the fan festival in the Bochum Ruhr Stadium during the Soccer World Cup finals in 2006.
In December 2006, Marnie go on tour supporting DOG EAT DOG on their huge German “Walk With Me” tour. In 2007 Marnie find a perfect partner - the booking agency A.S.S. Concerts and with them comes a new surge of energy – naturally at their own live concerts e.g. with “30 Seconds to Mars”, “Revolverheld”, “Juli” and “2-Raumwohnung”.
Following their big success supporting “A.J. McLean” on his German tour in 2008, the long awaited debut album is due in the autumn.
“We’re just going to do it” – (L)emmy – “We’re just gonna do what feels good” It’s in them and it’s indescribable. “The dream doesn’t start sometime – it’s always there. You’ve got to grab hold of it and not let go. Where are we headed? Marnie will show us the way. Available soon - the energy of Marnie packed as music - to have and to hear.
And so they ride, full of confidence… to somewhere unknown.
