I love to cook and bake. If I am feeling stress, I will have cook, bake and freeze marathons. I enjoy creating my own recipes and entering them in contests. My death by chocolate cake from scratch won first prize. That is my claim to fame. I enjoy working which entails creating jewelry. I love the ocean and I think that it is one of God's most beautiful creations. I love the ocean, summer, gardening, yard sales, boats, shopping for shoes, and helping others. I love Misquamicut beach in Rhode Island. It's the closest "real" ocean-not like putrid Long Island Sound here in CT. I love going to New York City. I love to laugh. I love the color purple. I love butterflies. I'm from CT. I don't like CT and would love to move to the South. I love Gulf of Mexico waters and warm weather. I'm Italian American on both sides and am very proud of my Italian heritage. Music is a big part of my life. I don't care for much music after the 80's, but there are some exceptions such as Taylor Hicks, Josh Groban, Christina Augliera, Andrea Bocelli, Carrie Underwood. Some more after the 80's, but not that many. Good music seems to have gone by the wayside. I have tried to pass on an appreciation for music to my children. My children are the lights of my life. Find out who your children are. They are really a fascinating bunch when you get to know them. My theory on inner happiness: Some people spend their entire lives searching for happiness. True inner happiness comes from accomplishing your goals, reaching for the stars to achieve your dreams. It also comes from helping others, accomplishing your responsibilities, finishing your every day tasks. People or things cannot give you true inner happiness. It really does come from within. A great date: Sitting on the beach, wrapped in a blanket, while getting fed chocolate covered cherries. |
