Doug Means has been writing, singing, composing, playing, and performing music since the late 90’s. While a member of Long Beach favorites, “Nobody Cares," he gained experience performing and recording. Doug Means has had the privilege of opening for artists as diverse as Shaggy, M.C. Hammer, Thrice, Steel Pulse, Ozomotli, Kid Rock, Barrington Levy and many others; performing in venues such as House of Blues, Verizon Amphitheater, Key Club, and every other venue that needed it (including festivals like Beachfest, Shaqtacular, One Love, Doheny Days and Funktastic Bombastic). Recordings were made in studios ranging from the down-home sound of a bedroom or garage, to the "Clarity" of a high end studio environment. Many of the instruments on previous recordings were played by Doug Means. He is now accompanied by a slammin’ band which consistently brings it live. Doug Means Project’s music has been featured on Fuel TV’s "Standard Snowboard Show," "10 Count," and also in the NSS skateboard team’s latest film.
