DJ & Vocalist

Originally from Melbourne, AUSTRALIA, half Japanese --- DJ and vocalist.

In the past 6 years she has traveled around and lived in Japan, China and ofcourse, Australia.

Boudicca started out doing a radio show on SUB FM 91.5 / 88 and SYN FM 90.7 --- Some voice overs were done for the Stonecutters Breakfast Radio Show with Mike and Willie. Her first event was a benefit gig disco party for Melbourne's Juvinile Justice Prison.

B's vocal work has included recording samples for new up and coming artists in Japan and MC for a Digeridoo vs DJ gig in Takamatsu feat. Sanchit and DJ Fujita.

As time progressed, Boudicca started playing at clubs such as Funky Tek and Virus, spinning harder, acid trance / techno sounds in Melbourne.

From 2001 through to about 2003 Boudicca traveled to Japan to do design work and simultaneously DJ-ing at local clubs in downtown Osaka. Soon played at bigger clubs and events all over Japan, including Hokkaido, Tokyo, Nagoya, Takamatsu and Kyoto.

Upon return to Melbourne in late 2003, Boudicca played on the main floor of one of Australia's biggest outdoor electronic music festivals, Earthcore - located in an old volcanic crater past Ballarat.

In the past 3 years, Boudicca has traveled to India and China, then returned to put more focus on her design career... During her 'dexperiences', Boudicca has managed to build a reputation to spin diverse, but progressive sets, adjusting to the events she plays for...

If you play house, why not crank it up a bit with progressive house, or perhaps even pop in a bit of electro house? Depending on the event or club ofcourse... Really enhance the cressendo of a set!! I just love to go out and hear DJ's really getting into it and mixing 'outside the box'...

Long ago, probably in the 80s, before I got into mixing, the DJ was a faceless shadow behind the console... Now, in all it's glory, and popularity, politics seems to bring the scene down at times... I like to try and avoid all that. Get back to the basics....
