| MVP stands For Makin Victimz Pay or Most Valuable Playaz. MVP started back in 1995, consisting of six emcees with different roles: T-ROC(HARDCORE MC), SAM SCUDDY(BATTLE MC), ARSON(SPIRITUAL MC & HEAD PRODUCER), MICAH SCALE(EXECUTIVE PRODUCER & HARDCORE MC), BLAK JIZZ(RAPID FIRE MC & PRODUCER), & CYNN(FEMALE LYRICIST). The group is designed to bring all forms of hip hop on one disc. MVP has put out a maxie single "It's Live Tonight", and A EP "Playa Proud Niggaz". Sam Scud has slayed hundreds of MCs around da BURGH, his music can be heard on two of Cadillac Dames last CDs & DJ Plan B's Mixtape. T-ROC, BLAK JIZZ, & MICAH SCALE vocals can be heard on BAM's "L.E.U. 2: Purgatory". CYNN can be heard on DJ Plan B's Mixtape & The Hosanna House CD. ARSON's Production can be heard on Boot Knox's CD, The 412 Congergation CD, R.Vaigz CD, EMMI AUTO's CD, & more. BLAK JIZZ's production can be heard on the 412 MEAN CLIQ Comp and the "HOOD DREAMS" LP with auzlee.Now, MVP has linked with HARD HEADED RECORDS to release A full lenth LP "DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR". Usually MVP has gone with ARSON producing most of material, this time ARSON is producing 50%, DIEZEL is producing 25%, and BLAK JIZZ is producing 25% of the LP. With a couple of outside producers on deck such as KURSEWERD, FELONY, and Johnny Juliano. "DB4D" steadly brings consitant hood bangaz such as "COP KILLA" and "MAKE EM BLEED" should satisfy tha hood niggaz. But on "LOST" featuring CHUCKY(HARD HEADED), A fiery SAM SCUD warns MC's with bars"If U don't wanna be gone to november/stay out of the line of real contenders/bitch nigga". SAM SCUD smashes MCs all over the LP. And on "ITS WHATEVA" JIZZ gives Twista a run for his money, rapping over ARSON drums so fast u may have to rewind his verse A few times. With SAM SCUD bringing HIP HOP back to basics & MICAH SCALE, JIZZ, & A couple of T-ROC verses (recorded before he was incarcerated) giving the streets what they want. Suprisingly the "DB4D" highlights come from CYNN. Her ability to adapt to any type track is incredible. From spitting alongside SAM SCUD on "THE BEGINNING OF THE END" and spitting on hood tracks such as "ITS WHATEVA" she spits"Come fuck wit dis true bitch my niggaz iz all wit it ready 2 spit it". The album also has street anthems "IZ IT ON" Featuring K-Pound(ROVA LIKE) and BAM(L.E.U.) which shouts out every hood in the BURGH, and the groups street single "WELCOME TO DA BURGH" dedicated to the city of PITTSBURGH.With T-ROCs appeal still pending, there is no release date yet, but after T-ROCs appeal(Good Or Bad) it will be released. T-ROCs appeal is in MARCH "2008", so expect the CD MAY "08".
