I do/did take all the photos in the 'my work' folder I'm a visual artist I'm primative A free spirited Loving Caring Ruthless Inspiring Inspired Passionate Loved Hated Agoraphobiac...... I don't believe in working a 9-5 job for someone else I don't believe in being a failure if you don't School teaches you maths Life gives us wisdom As children we're fed with fear about being a failure As a child I was the one who corrected teachers and parents I was that smart arse who was too 'willful' or too 'mouthy' The teachers would punish me for being highly spirited They called me stupid because I didn't understand the work I had to have special classes to learn how to read By the time I was in high school I was convinced I was stupid This is the time when I started focusing on my artwork 2003 Failed Gym Failed Math Failed Science Failed Geography Your a FAILURE Due to the greyscale education system My vast talents were overlooked With that, and the stress of being a student, a gay one at that. It was my choice whether I was going to use this to my advantage or not It was at that point in my life when I locked myself away from society and created my own dreamland I stayed indoors for two years, growing a fear of outdoors but always keeping focus on my art We eventually wake up from our dreams But this one has become my reality An art gallery owner took interest in my work when my mother showed her some of my drawings In no time, my scary images were the flavour, becomming one of the highest selling artists at the gallery and feeling more alive and passionate than ever my scratchy canvas work soon became notorious Crowds of people would gather around me and watch me paint I sold oil paintings off the wall while they were still wet Hell, my work was even prominent enough to piss of the catholic church it was'nt blasphemy Over time I moved from contempory/traditional canvas work to film photography and then onto digital Now, you don't have to look far to see my work published here and there I am living proof that we are capable of doing our own thing Those who tell you not to follow your dreams have obiously given up on their own IF They even had any I believe people need to stand up for themselves we need to say, NO to being moulded into machines and we need to most of all believe in ourselves We as people have the power and can make things happen If your unhappy with your life, think of how your blues can advantage you Have your flaws work in your favor Don't Let people kill you before you have the chance to be alive Lifes to short to let other people make the most of it. I am an aquired taste, and mediocrity isn't on the menue.
