| “We're NOT from London, we DON'T play metal, and we DON'T want to exchange anything!” We're LONDON METAL EXCHANGE! We are from Phoenix, Arizona and are a rock band that works hard to put on a great show and always has fun doing it.
www.myspace.com/londonmetalexchange.Our Sound: Imagine the guitar riffs of Chevelle mixed with the smooth harmonies of Weezer all driven by the pounding drumming of Slipknot. Intrigued? So are fans all over Arizona. With an all-original set, LMX spans the gamut from punk all the way to hard rock. We have worked with producers in the past which has greatly helped us with understanding how to write catchy, radio friendly tunes. We also have a wide range of influences including: Weezer, Sevendust, Foo Fighters, My Chemical Romance, The Used, Rancid, Dillinger Escape Plan, Beck, Sikth, Breaking Benjamin, Social Distortion.... The list could go on for days. I think you get the point that we love music.Background: In varied line-ups and instrument changes, London Metal Exchange originally began playing together under a different name in (2001). Since then, LMX has undergone changes here and there as they’ve refined their music writing ability and familiarized themselves with showmanship, and of course with the ability to play on the move! The band has had it’s long trials of flyering for shows, dealing with ticket sales, renting out clubs, and generally dipping into every element of what a working local band encounters. In 2008, LMX is aiming at a new level of ‘success’ with the help of our recently recorded self titled 10 song debut album (recorded at Pyramix Studios in Glendale, AZ).HELP US OUT!!
