| Aline started playing and composing songs on the piano at the age of four. Originally from Mexico, she went to school in the United States, where she became bilingual (Spanish and English). She discovered she could sing when she was picked to become the leading voice of her school choir at the age of seven.
Aline later participated in the Spanish language version of the Broadway musical « Godspell »touring north-western Mexico with success.
Thanks to an uncle who was a die-hard Brazil fan she gradually became a collector and admirer of contemporary Latin and Brazilian music.
Aline arrived in Jamaica in 1997 as a French language teacher. Jamaica was her first opportunity to begin formal voice training. She started with Mrs. Giorgia Schliefer, a wonderful Cuban opera singer, in 2000.
In Jamaica she performed in various occasions with the famous guitar wizard, Maurice Gordon, and young reggae man, Abijah, with whom she recorded the hit song « The Rock ».
Aline left Jamaica and continued to take her music to Guatemala and France where she has settled (for now) and where she performs occasionally during Brazilian festivals. She offers a show which takes the listener on a trip through several of the different genres and composers of Brazil.-----------------------------------------------------

Aline comenzó a tocar piano y a hacer canciones a los cuatro años de edad. Nacida en México, estudió muchos años en EEUU donde aprendió inglés y descubrió su pasión por el canto, volviéndose la voz principal del coro de su colegio a la edad de 7 años. Más adelante Aline participó en la comedia musical "Godspell" en su versión en español, obra que tuvo bastante éxito en el norte de la península de Baja California. Fue gracias a su tio, un eterno apasionado por la música de Brasil, que ella comenzó a coleccionar y a admirar la música latina y brasileña contemporánea. Tras un tiempo de vivir en Francia Aline se instaló en Jamaica en 1997 como profesora de francés. En Jamaica comenzó su entrenamiento vocal con la gran cantante cubana Giorigia Guerra-Schliefer. En Jamaica Aline se presentó en varias ocasiones junto a Maurice Gordon, guitarrista jazz virtuoso y con Abijah, el joven talento del reggae, con quien también grabó el tema "The Rock" que subió a los "hit charts" en la isla del Caribe. Después de cinco años de vivir en Jamaica, Aline siguió llevando su música a Guatemala y actualmente a Francia, donde radica, y donde canta en festivales de música y artes latinas y brasileñas. En Jamaïque, Aline partagea la scène avec Maurice Gordon, un virtuose de la guitare jazz, ainsi qu'avec Abijah, un jeune talent du reggae avec qui elle enregistra "The Rock" qui connut un énorme succès dans l'île caribéenne. Aline quitta la Jamaïque après cinq ans pour amener sa musique au Guatemala et en France où elle est maintenant installée (pour l'instant en tout cas) et où elle chante lors de certains festivals brésiliens. Aline offre un spectacle qui amène le spectateur en voyage à travers les divers genres et grands compositeurs brésiliens.
