Alan Mulkey was born and raised in Rock Island, Illinois and resides in Chandler, Arizona . Alan Mulkey is a professional photographer who works freelance, commercial, for magazines and celebrity functions.
Photography for Alan started as a hobby at the early age of eleven. Over the years, Alan has turned a lifetime passion into a professional career which has produced numerous award winning photographs featured in highly acclaimed events, including the Nikon Photo Contest International and MSNBC.com. His work has been featured in magazines and art galleries throughout the nation and was recognized by Outdoor Photographer Magazine as a “True Inspirational Photographer” for his distinctive work in landscape photography

For over three decades Mulkey has been successfully mastering the art of photography. His main goal is to capture and preserve a story of history, happiness, beauty, emotion and joy

Mulkey's work spans the entire Country as well as Australia and New Zealand. When he is not traveling, he also photographs sporting events, portraits, Native American settings and unique and beautiful landscape desert scenes. Working in both color and black & white, his style is unique and distinctive with a timeless, classical edge

Mulkey's uplifting energy, sense of humor, romantic and fun-loving personality, makes him a favorite for those seeking to capture the essence of the human spirit and evoke emotional moments, not normally found with other photographers.

Hello, my name is Alan Mulkey, I am a Professional Photographer with an emphasis on Landscape and wildlife Photography. I love life and living life in every possible amalgamation. I am blessed with so many things including my family, my friends and having the opportunity not only to live life, but hopefully adding more to it by being the best I can possibly be.
I believe in not being judgmental in others in what they do or how they perceive things as different viewpoints are the building blocks of evolution. I always try to give more than I receive. I am the friend I seek. I try to be the father I admire so much.
As I climb the ladder of life, I try remember each rung and I have touched and passed & what it has given me so that I may extend my hand and hopefully guide others climbing behind me. Life is about what we give to each other, not what we can gain. I hope that in my lifetime, I can be worthy of the gifts life has given me.

I am deeply involved with the American Diabetes Association, Habitat for Humanity and the One Campaign. I would invite you to please get involved with any charitable organization you feel strongly about. With only a few hands and a lever, the world can be moved, we just need to join together to make it happen.

I am also a wood carver, it is one of my many passions in life. I feel so alive when my hands are holding a gouge and I have made the very first cut into the wood. Creation comes in many forms and I have found I am so much more alive with every piece I finish. I imagine it is the same for anyone who creates.

I truly believe that if more people today could capture that wonderful feeling, the world would start to heal and become what it was meant to be.

I own my own studio in Chandler, AZ. for portrait settings which include head shots, school portraits, pets, commercial product photos, fashion, high fashion, album covers, and band shots, either on set or on location, grand openings of the world’s hottest clubs. I also travel for my clients needs such as banana Boat, Cover Girl and Revlon.
