About Me |
|
| Hailing from Hoboken (near Antwerp, Belgium that is - no Sinatra connection here) Ronald Ruck were three people playing some fast and short songs in the late eighties. Like many others around back then it all started out while visiting hc gigs, mostly at the 1000 Appeltjes in Antwerp, where a Belgian band called Dona Nobis Pacem showed us the light in the shape of the three chord heaviness that would change our lives forever... Jan AGx became one of our best friends, and thanks to him we learned to know a lot of people all over the world and started trading tapes in this pre-internet era, got some exposure in zines and got some of our songs on various tape-compilations. Our recording sound wasn't the best (that's why you better put the volume on its maximum up above), but hey folks: it's hardcore, it's punk and it's a DIY thing, so who cares....? | |
