About Me |
|
| Painkiller , Canada's oldest tribute to Judas Priest, not to be confused with Painkiller from (Edmonton) Alberta Canada, Painkiller started out many years before the now famous 1990 album of the same name, originally called Deciever during the first years of the bands exhistence, they will be celebrating there 18th anniversary in 2007. Throught out the years the band has endured many line-up changes(mostly bassists) , but has strived to maintain a high standard of quality in their performances, weither its playing a small club to a 100 or so fans, or playing a large festival crowd, every element of a Priest show shines through in their performances. Painkiller has built their reputation on presenting the whole package in their shows , right down to the 40 foot wide stage, stacks and stacks of Marshall amps , and the 8 foot high drum riser that conciels the Harley underneath, every element of a Priest show recreated as closely as possible. Of coarse is hard to present an arena show at a small club, but its the musical/theatrical performance as well tht shines through in a smaller club setting, and giving the fans 110% is what its all about. | |
