| Founder member Gaye Bykers on Acid, Singer, songwriter and DJ. sang with and toured the world with : Apollo 440, Pigface, Hyperhead, Martinijuana, Maximum Roach. Now living in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil - DJ at the Fasano hotel Arpoardor and Hosting a once monthly sunday poolside bash with fellow brit Doug Gray under the name of "You Smell Nice" at Casa MangoMango in Santa Teresa , also working with producer Hejinho and Monobloco singer Fabio on some samba infused breaks and baile funk under the working title the of Samba Breaks Phenomenon also Producing projects such as: the Freakin Breakbeat rockin' "Drug Donkey" with Noko 440. "Boomboxx" Latin flavoured Electro with Mikey Cusick and the Reggae/Ragga breaks outfit called "Magnetic Empire" with son of the Solent Harry K. Also Have recently finished recording surf Rockin' Opus with the ahead of their time "Maximum Roach" with Noko, Mickey C (Lady Soveriegn), The Kodfather Paul Kodish (Pendulum) and HK (Urban Delights). I also collaborated with Drum'n'Bass Guru "DJ Fresh" on the No 1 Radio 1 dance chart smash "Nervous" Taken from the Lp "Escape from Planet Monday". And with "Urban Delights" on their album title track "Revolution No 1" Also with the Nokster I co-wrote and performed on the Wella NME shokwaves TV ad as "the Imagined" . have scored my buddy Director Barney Howells short movie "Jack" as "The Plutones" along with the very very Welsh Perry Ap Gwynned (Senior,Senoir) Also collaborated recently with straight 8 founder Ed Sayers on his "bikefilm" and on the best of straight 8 2007 DVD check out www.straight8.net for those of you interested in cutting edge film making -recently concentrating on DJ'ng Rocking Brazil playing Breaks and Party beatz on a roots rocking latin mash up Tip with some electro house naughtiness thrown in for good measure - Married to the lovely Cecilia bringing up our beautiful son Alex in sunny Rio | |
