We are the brethren of the infinite black flames. The demons spawned from humanities plague of emnity. We shall spread wide the formidable abhorrent wings of darkness, and cast forth the black storm of misanthropy. As you all burn for eternity in THE BURNING LANDS.....--In the beginning--Naetu was founded in the late summer of 2002 by Vorkgnar (lead guitar) and Brutal Nefarious (bass/vox). And since, has been a slowly developing creature of pure misanthropic bloodlust. The musical creativity is greatly inspired by the likes of Enslaved, Dark Funeral, Marduk, Dawn, The Abyss, Algaion and Behemoth to name but a few. With such inspiriation, Naetu's music reaches new depths of dark, frantic and uncontrolable aggression. By early 2004 the pair sought to attain a full line up, and subsequently gained the services of the vexatious Noxeraph as rythm guitarist. Nisrach was recruited in mid 2004 as drummer and they began full rehearsals with live ceremonies in mind. But due to personal reasons, Nisrach was forced to leave Naetu before having played any shows at the end of 2004........... In early to mid 2005 a drummer by the name of Xaphan joined the fold, but after performing 3 shows, Xaphan left the band for personal reasons in early 2007. Luckily a session drummer was quickly found (whom wishes to remain nameless for the time being) to help with the recording of the album, and possibly some live shows. We shall hopefully enter the studio in october, to finally record the long awaited debut album entitled 'The Burning Lands'...... Keep your eyes on this spot for further updates!NEXT SHOW SEPTEMBER 21 AT THE HEAT NIGHTCLUB. COME FOR THE SUFFERING, STAY FOR THE BOOZE!!!
