| Hey, thanks for checking out my site. You are listening to tracks I recorded a few years ago on my ancient 12 track Akai tape deck. It's almost dead. Fortunately I am currently recording digitally and I hope to have new tunes up here soon. I'm Jack Rainfield, a guitarist/singer and I have spent the musical part of my life trying to figure out what was going on in Jimi Hendrix's mind that made him play like that! I haven't figured it out yet but I can't stop trying. I admire a handful of guitarists besides Jimi... Stevie Ray Vaughan, Duane Allman, Eric Clapton, Billy Gibbons, BB King, Freddie King, Albert King, Albert Collins, Johnny Winter, Jerry Garcia, Dickey Betts, Carlos Santana, Roy Buchanan and last but not least Robin Trower . Right now I am playing out occasionally and really mostly focused on practising and writing. I will be posting some blues soon so please check back. I've been known to jam here and there and I sometimes work as a fill in for bands in a rock, blues, or country format. As you can hear the songs here are all Jimi covers. However, the last several years I have spent learning slide guitar in Duane Allman's style and I love playing like that too. I also love to paint in oils and I have one of my recent paintings posted. I hope you enjoy these recordings and please contact me with any questions, suggestions, etc. I really appreciate all the people who have taken the time to listen to these songs. Thankyou very much.
