| .. " Once upon a time there was a young Australian guy who didn't really know what he wanted to do with his life. After being quite good at school there was a feeling of utter confusion when it came to wondering what the next step in his life would be. Stepping into retail became the next movement and of course there were things called girls that seemed to be on the very same planet that men occupied. After two separate relationships that lasted three and a half years each he decided that it was time to have some fun. A few years of partying and incredible times followed. But with every good fairy tale there comes a moment of darkness. Over time the getting drunk and meeting new girls "life style" started to wear thin. The drinking and partying became all of his life instead of just part of it. Then out of now where it all began. After soul searching at a younger age of what he wanted to do with his life it suddenly became so clear. He wanted to be a writer. He remembered the small amusing novel he wrote in primary school that was still in a box somewhere under the house gaining dust but retaining memories. The feeling of letting everything in his head loose onto the pages of blankness suddenly became the new drug. Things started to change for him. A new girl came into his life. The kind of girl that years before he would never have thought would ever be in his range. She was younger than him but there was a connection that was impossible to ignore for both of them. Before long things became serious. She moved in with him. The writing continued and he changed jobs to start managing a store instead of just working at one. There were too many late nights spent writing to count until one night he found himself just staring at the computer. In front of his eyes there was a full stop ending 87,000 words born from straight from his mind. It was saved under the title of "Window to the Soul". While all this was happening the most amazing next step of his life occured. He married the girl of his dreams after being together about 6 years. They have three gorgeous children. All furry and feline named Wesley, Buffy and Neo. After months of serious thinking he decided to print and self publish his work and put it out there into the public eye. The title was changed to Deadlight. DEADLIGHT was released on March 30, 2007 and everyone is raving about it!! The Halloween movies, Elm Street movies, some of the Fridays, Evil Dead Series, Hellraiser fucking rules YAY, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Saw I,II & III,Luv the Star Wars and Star Trek movies (yes I already know I'm a big nerd lol), Also luv the Marvel Movies... great to see some of my childhood heroes kicking ass. |
