Jennifer Norman.....29 year old singer / songwriter / musician from Collinsville, Illinois. She has been performing in local clubs, honkey tonks, at local sporting events for the last 10 years or so. Debut album was released in early 2003..."Leavin' on the next thing Smokin'" . It consists of 10 songs with a strong sense of traditional country music.After pushing hard, and trying to make a name for herself in the business, traveling doing gigs for years...Jennifer decided that she needed to take some time off. For about a year or so, she pretty much stayed away from the music business, period. Then somewhere about mid 2006...She started writing music again...writing about 'life expierences,' things that she had seen through the years, and the people she loves. After beginning to write again, she started preparing to do some live music again, but THIS time with music that really meant something to her. Contacted a good friend...and setting up a meeting with current band mate...Kelle Green. From that day on, they have been writing music, and hitting the club circuit again...playing Jennifer's music acousticaly, and building a fan base. At this time, Jennifer has written about 25 original songs that they perform live, while mixing it up with some really cool cover songs by artists like: the BoDeans, the White Stripes, Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, Lorretta Lynn, Kasey Chambers, the Beatles, Lucinda Williams, Jack Johnson, and many more.Currently without a record label, but working to get back in the studio.
