An album containing spiritual & truthful lyrics, infectious hooks, riffs, melodies and natural rhythm & blues. Elements of funk & hip-hop are included, but within the surroundings of warm tones that only acoustic instruments can produce. No keyboards are used at all. No effects. Pure brass, ambient strings, and good ol' fashioned acoustic guitar have been combined to create a sound design reminiscent of the 70s. Sha Levi's razzy vox and bluesy guitar licks, along with bouncing beats, provide a range in genre from classical to urban. Imperfect and without today's "tight" digital production standards, this album brings back the human feel & touch.
