In 1996, "BLIND FUN RECORDS." was founded. Alternative rock band "THE SALINGER" was formed in March 1997. They had made a clean sweep of all prizes, titles, and broke many kinds of records in Japanese indie scene. May 1999, they debuted in the major music scene with the single "SMASH IT UP" THE SALINGER accomplished a nationwide tour, and Mar. 2002, they made a great success in the US tour including "SXSW'2002" which is one of the biggest music festival in US. After that, THE SALINGER released their masterpiece "S WORD'3" in March 2003 which is including two theme songs of Japanese movies. Jul. & Sep. in 2004, they released 2 concept EPs in quick succession: "SUMMER CLASH" & "SNOW CLASH" These were recorded & completed in their own studio. Also, live DVD was released in Dec. Dec. 2005, they released their first box set "KNOW FUTURE" contains DVD, T-shirts, Post card, pin badge and sticker. Feb. 2005, they launched live event called "Beautiful Rock Night" which combined Rock & Fashion. Also the tribute album to NIRVANA, "ALL APOLOGIES" at Eddie's suggestion was released. Moreover, they released the eagerly-awaited mini-album "Loveless" on Jun. 2006. This mini-album attained to completion with avant-garde grunge style, and is very much talked of as one of the highest masterpiece, and acclaimed by not only music scene but also zazz & creators scene.
