1991年、中西俊夫プロデュースによるナチュ ル・カラミティとしての1stアルバム『Dawn In The Valley』でデビュー。以降6枚のアルバム、1枚 リミックスアルバムをリリース。UA、かせ さいだぁ等のプロデュースやNIGO、SUKIA、SILEN T POETS等のREMIXも手掛ける。ギタリストとして ゲストミュージシャンとして多方面で活躍 1998年にはビースティーボーイズ、ベック、 ーリングストーンズのプロデュースで知ら るダストブラザースのIDEAL RECORDSより全米デビュー、ダストブラザース 催のイベントにも出演。静かでメランコリ クな彼の音楽性はアメリカのメディアでは ドリーミー・サウンド”と称され、ジャッ ジョンソンが自身のムービーのサウンド・ト ラックに使用するなど世界各地でその評価は 非常に高い。2001年には「UMA UMA」名義でのギターインストアルバム『UMA UMA』をP-VINEよりリリース。2003年9月には瑞々 い4年ぶりのナチュラル・カラミティ7thアル バム『Night Is Indigo』をエイプサウンズよりリリース。2003 には森俊二と石井マサユキ--TICA--によるギタ ー・インスト・ユニット「Gabby&Lopez」を結 成。2004年9月、待望の1stアルバム『STRAW HAT, 30 SEEDS』を発表、数々のライヴ・イベントに出 する。2006年11月には2ndアルバム『Nicky's Dream』をリリース。現在はふたたびナチュラ ・カラミティの新作を製作中。 www.huginc.net www.myspace.com/huginctokyo |
