She was also invited to judge the DMC DJ Championships of Canada at the young age of 21. DJ SARASA keeps the dance floor and bar bouncing whilst swerving to the groove of Silverboombox. Her name Silverboombox derived from a birthday present given to DJ SARASA when she was 18. From that point on, she became known as "the girl who carries a Silverboombox with the music blasting!" Hunger for Culture Truly immersed in the art of digging through records and studying music in general, DJ SARASA has developed an ear for the good stuff and the ability to break what's hot well before others. DJ SARASA has been Breakdancing and representing Hip Hop culture since she was 16. A precocious young B-Girl with a hunger to further her skills, she soon dabbled in all aspects of the game, branching out to all facets of this ever-growing art form, culture and industry. Bringing True Culture to Japan DJ SARASA is currently heavily involved in the promotion and evolution of Hip Hop culture throughout Japan. She implemented a marketing campaign for the launch of "Dave Chappelle's Block Party" and "RIZE" nationwide. DJ SARASA arranged movie screenings launch nights, radio plugs, magazines listings and more to enforce the Block Party campaign.
